Srednja tehniška šola Koper Slovenia - Scuola media technica di Capodistria

is a vocational high school in the Coastal region of Slovenia. Koper is a small coastal town with 26.000 inhabitants, that live mainly of tourism and different services connected with it, there are also some factories (car industry, tool industry, car services/sellers) and  a big port.

The school  offers students different occupations: hairdresser, car mechanic, plumber, metal shaper, machine technician, computer operator, computer technician and they  also have technical grammar  school. There are 648 students and 66 teachers. It is the only school in the region that offers such a variety of technical occupations and the school put a great deal of effort into further education of the staff, not just students and also into promoting technical occupations
